The Grand Canyon was high on my list of “places I must see before I die.” This past spring, I finally checked the Grand Canyon off my list. I took a week long motorcycle road trip to northern Arizona with a few of my close friends. It only cost us $12 apiece for seven-day passes. The sights we saw were worth every penny.

When we had gotten our fill of the natural wonder, we threw on our motorcycle gear and made for historic Route 66. With my leather motorcycle vest and old school goggles I felt like I had traveled back in time- especially when we got to the original two lane sections of the highway. The nostalgia continued at the charming 1950s era Wigwam Motel in Holbrook, where we spent the night.

Last summer by boyfriend and I embarked on a West Coast motorcycle adventure. We wanted to see all sorts of wonders, both natural and manmade, that the United States has to offer. On my list of must-see places was the Giant Forest in Sequoia National Park in California.

Specifically, I wanted to see General Sherman, a giant sequoia that is the largest known living single stem tree on Earth (by volume). When the day came for us to don our leather motorcycle jackets and ride to the park, I could not contain my excitement. General Sherman did not disappoint. I channeled Ansel Adams and took an astounding number of photographs that are now framed and hanging on our living room wall.

Road rash and flesh wounds can be prevented by wearing leather motorcycle chaps. Sizing can vary by manufacturer, so it is important to know your measurements. To properly size motorcycle chaps you need a pair of jeans, a tape measure, and a notepad.

Start by putting on a pair of jeans that you would normally wear for riding, as leather motorcycle chaps are meant to be worn on top of jeans. Next, measure your waist, your thigh at its largest point, and your inseam (all in inches). Note these measurements in your notepad and compare your numbers to the numbers listed by the manufacturer to determine which size chaps are best for your body.

The past few weeks there’s been a new motorcycle insurance commercial running during various sporting events and it’s caught my attention. An unmanned motorcycle is seen crashing in slow motion and the voiceover in the background is saying something to the effect of “motorcycles never crash alone.” As a habitual motorcyclist, I have to say this advert hit pretty close to home.

I mean, even if you are covered by insurance, that’s no solace to your body during a crash. In my opinion, one of the best insurance policies for any motorcyclist is a high-quality set of motorcycle gear. Not only do a leather motorcycle jacket and motorcycle vests as well as graphically enhanced helmet look amazing, they can prevent serious damage during a spill as well.

The adrenaline rush of riding the motorcycle is just one of the aspects that make the experience unique. Riding on the back of a bike will be a memorable moment for any child. Although this heart-pounding thrill ride will be exhilarating, you want to be sure that everyone is safe.

Normal biker gear isn’t designed for children, so it is important to make sure that you have equipment that fits your child properly. Kid’s motorcycle riding jackets are an essential, not only for warmth, but also in case of a spill as well. Before you put you kid on the back of the bike, make sure you’ve taken all the measures to ensure their safety.

Last summer I purchased my first motorcycle, and it has not only been a thrill for me but for my entire family. At first my wife was little hesitant to hop on the back-now she begs me to take her for rides. Our oldest son also is constantly hounding me to take him for leisure trips as well.

Although I am more than comfortable on my motorcycle, I was reluctant to let me oldest heir on. After some contemplation, my wife and I decided that it would be ok. Of course we took all of the necessary precautions, like by him a well-fit helmet and his own kids motor cycle riding gear.

Look fashionable all the time while you’re zipping down the road or simply hanging out with your rider friends. One of the best outfits for riders like you are stylish motorcycle jackets made of quality natural leather. These are made from premium split cowhide leather and are studded with durable metal hardware.

Many of these discount motorcycle leather jackets have removable liners to make them easy to clean. Select from a wide range of designs especially made for men and women. They come in various colors, textures and style options. Some are also offered in durable Buffalo leather.

In the world of fashion, few things make quite as bold a statement as leather. A heavy and dark material, it doesn’t matter if it comes in the form of a jacket or a miniskirt. Designers have used this knowledge for years to create daring and bold looks. But if you’re looking to incorporate leather into your everyday fashion repertoire, make sure that it’s not overdone. With that bold of a look, it’s best to wear just one accent piece using the fabric.

For this reason, a men’s leather vest can be a surprisingly versatile thing to have in your closet. Not only will it prove useful if you’re ever cruising around on your motorcycle, but it will also serve as a great accent to any outfit. For a casual look, pair it with jeans. And for a more eclectic look, pair the edgy look of leather with a more formal outfit. However you wear it, leather can help you make that bold statement, so make sure your closet isn’t completely devoid of leather.

Women like to look fashionable. It doesn’t matter what project or activity that they are doing. If you’re a tom boy or a high fashionista, you are always conscience of what you look like. Styles come and go over the years.

One of the styles that have not gone anywhere is womens leather vests. Leather vests are not only set aside for motorcyclist. Women of all genres wear leather vests to work as well as for casual attire. You can dress vests up as well as dress them down.

If you are choosing to ride a motorcycle safety plays a huge factor. It doesn’t matter if you are on the freeway or down a dirt road. There is no reason why you should not be completely prepared. It doesn’t matter if you are a new rider or have been riding for years.

Motorcycle riding boots are not an option that you can ignore. Tennis shoes don’t give you the protection that boots do. They can easily slip off if you are in an accident. Boots also keep your ankle in place preventing dislocation of your ankle.
